“We have found that Mr. Murtha has the ability to combine his technical skill together with being an advocate for his client during the construction phase of the project….and there was absolutely no hesitation in engaging his firm to perform this job.
We feel his willingness to listen to our thoughts and suggestions is his single most admirable quality. We would highly recommend Stateline No. 7 Architects for future work.” Gregg Jones President Jonah Bank of Wyoming Cheyenne, Wyoming |

“As general contractor, Caspar Building Systems, Inc. has appreciated the completeness of the plans generated by Stateline and the ease of communications and problem resolution we have experienced when working on a Stateline project.
We understand the importance of complete and well designed set of plans. Not only are they critical for a smooth construction schedule, they are necessary to protect the Owner from unforeseen cost overruns and unnecessary expenditures.
Stateline has always shown itself to be a design firm who places the success of the project first and has always been responsive to questions and information requests from the general contractor as well as sub-contractors. We will always welcome Stateline No. 7 Architects as our project designer. We consider them a major asset on any project team.”

“ As owner of several historic properties in downtown Rapid City, I spent considerable time searching out the right team to rehabilitate the 1886 Winsor Block……
The Major construction company that I hired from Rapid City recommended Stateline Architecture. Although I did have several local firms very interested in the project, I made a visit to Stateline at their office in Casper, Wyoming I realized the company was very organized and professional……..
I did have some concerns about Stateline being in Wyoming and my project being in Rapid City, but that quickly diminished with several visits to the project site from Stateline…….
Stateline was always right back to me with recommendations, often the same day. I highly recommend Stateline No. 7 Architects and would use them again.” Daniel J. Senftner Owner Windsor Block , LLC Rapid City, South Dakota |

“I have had the distinct honor of working with Lyle Murtha (Stateline No. 7 Architects) since his dream of starting his own architectural firm was realized in 2005…….
Stateline No. 7 Architects is a very unique architectural firm because not only do they perform the “normal” architectural duties on schedule, they do it with a level of professionalism that I feel is second to none. Their greatest quality is that this firm not only cares about the client, but they care about the project, the project budget and schedule, the contractor, and subcontractors. They have helped me work through and successfully build and finish projects on time and under budget, never once giving us the cold shoulder once design was finished.
Lyle and his staff come highly recommended by myself and W.N. McMurry Construction Company.” Rick Nelson Secretary / Treasurer W.N. McMurry Construction Co. Casper, Wyoming |

“From the initial planning stages in 2005 to the first day of 2008 school year , Lyle and his team have been an outstanding group of professionals to work with. Keeping the needs of the children and families served by CDC in mind the design build team of Stateline No. 7 and general contractor W.N. McMurry Construction and CDC were able to work together toward a common goal of designing and constructing a phenomenal facility. The communication between CDC staff and the construction team leaders was constant and positive. The timelines were maintained, and the budget was followed.” John Starnes Executive Director Child Development Center of Natrona County Casper, Wyoming |

“You have been responsive to the city needs and wants and made the Adams Project an afterthought rather than a nightmare. I have enjoyed working with you and appreciate your customer concern. That is always a plus in my book—you hear what the client is saying and do your best to meet the need…” Jim Raysor Director of Public Works City of Deadwood Deadwood, South Dakota |

“Lyle Murtha is a topnotch, honest, and creative architect…….
First and foremost, Lyle Murtha listens to what his client wants. He is always careful to ensure that his designs were acceptable to the Deadwood Historic Preservation Commission, and complied with the very specific historic preservation rules and regulations. Murtha attended countless commission meetings to explain the design to the commission. He developed a mutually respectful relationship between my board and the commission that made both groups feel positive about the project.
In addition to being an effective listener, Lyle Murtha thinks creatively in terms of space use and design. He was challenged with taking an Architecturally eclectic historic building and making it comply with modern ADA and safety regulations. This was no small feat and Mr. Murtha successfully designed new spaces that greatly enhanced the overall appearance of the building.
Finally, Lyle Murtha has great integrity as an architect. He treated everyone involved in the project with respect, and always responded quickly to questions as they arose. He was careful to stay within budget with a minimum of change orders. Although building construction is never easy, Lyle Murtha made the process as painless as possible.
It is without hesitation that I recommend Lyle Murtha to you. He will do a fine job with any project to which he sets his hand.”
